Day 1 Bangkok/Damnersaduak/Rose Garden (Lunch)

Early pick up at your hotel and drive to Ratchaburi, 100 km west of Bangkok, to experience one of Thailand’s most impressive sights at the up-country floating market of Damnernsaduak. Watch scores of vendors in small boats selling all kinds of products in a wonderfully colourful and photogenic setting. Also visit the magnificant Phra Pathom Chedi - one of the world’s largest pagodas - in the historic city of Nakhon Pathom.

Arrive at Rose Garden Riverside to enjoy an international buffet at the lakeside Vanda Pavilion. After lunch, visit the canal side market where local products are offered for sale from small boats. Items include attractive handicrafts, local delicacies fragrant soaps and cosmetic products made from locally-grown herbs and aromatics.

Relax in air-conditioned comfort and watch the famous Elephant and Thai Village Cultural Show - Thailand’s longest running visual spectacle. This artistic production has thrilled appreciative audiences of all ages since 1970, and depicts multiple aspects of rural Thailand in an authentic and highly entertaining musical presentation.

Cross the river to an organic farm for an interesting late-afternoon introduction to life in the Thai countryside, including a sampling of tropical fruits in season, coconut harvesting, and an insight into the world of the amazing water buffalo.

Take a cooling boat ride along small waterways and enjoy refreshing country-style afternoon tea served with delicious banana fritter. 

Return to Rose Garden Riverside for dinner (own arrangement) at one of the restaurants. Evening at leisure.

Day 2  Rose Garden/Bangkok (Breakfast)

Morning  Breakfast at the Rim Nam Restaurant.

Visit the fascinating arts and crafts workshops village for a glimpse of authentic Thai skills and special techniques handed down through generations, and kept alive today by dedicated local people. Wander freely at your own pace to watch and wonder, or shop for quality items to take home. Activities include weaving, rice cultivation, and bamboo dancing, Thai martial arts, garland making, vegetable carving, pottery, orchid growing, umbrella painting, traditional country cooking, and aspects of healthy living at the Thai Wellness Pavilion.

Check-out (your room can be retained for late departure if rooms are available).
